Converting the Traceability/Uncertainty System

  • Download the beta updates, then apply to your system in the same way as previous updates.
  • Launch ProSet
    1. ProSet will run the following conversions:
      • Uncertainty templates from Access to SQL
      • Uncertainty statements from Access to SQL
      • Traceable instruments from Access to SQL
    2. Please note that depending on the number of uncertainties and traceable instruments on the system, this could take some time to complete.
  • Launch ProEdit
    1. ProEdit will run the following conversions.
      • Traceable instruments assigned to procedures will be converted to use the new SQL IDs.
      • Formulas referencing traceable instruments will be converted to use the new SQL IDs.
      • Uncertainties assigned to procedures/tests will be converted to use the new SQL IDs.
    2. Please note that depending on the number of procedures on the database, this could take some time to complete.
  • Launch ProCal
    1. The new version of the software is now ready to use.
