8100 - Entering the unlock code

Transmille products are protected by an unlock code when shipped from the factory. This is for protection of both ourselves and our representatives/resellers in the event of non payment.

When payment is received by Transmille, an unlock code is generated which is sent via email. Please note that if you purchase via a reseller or representative that we will only provide the code to the representative rather than the end customer.

If the multimeter is locked: 

Press the Menu button, there will be four options to select from, which will be displayed along the bottom left of the screen; Main, Config, Cal and Unlock. Press the button beneath 'Unlock'.

The Product Activation screen will be displayed, an activation reference will be shown at the top of the display, this is the reference for Transmille.

Enter the Unlock Code supplied by either Transmille or your local representatives/resellers and press the button beneath 'Enter'.

If the code was entered incorrectly the unit will indicate 'Invalid activation code'.

If the code was entered correctly, the unit will display 'Activating..Success' and the multimeter will display will revert to the menu screen and be fully functional.
