App Settings

To access the app settings, click the "cog" settings icon, found on the top right of the screen:

• Enable digital certificate approval
  • This settings needs to be enabled in order to use the digital certificate approval system. Enabling this prevents users from processing/dispatching in ProCal-Track until certificates have been approved. Disabling this prevents the ability to digitally approve certificates and allows ProCal-Track users to process and dispatch without approval.
• Minimise application to notification tray
  • Enabling this option causes the app to minimise to the notification tray in Windows, instead of minimising to the taskbar, when clicking the "minimise" button.
• Set optional certificate types for digital approval
  • Enables or disables the ability to digitally approve Certificate Of Conformance, Electrical Safety Test and Test Report type calibrations.
• Set Default Certificate Report Templates
  • Set the default template to be used by each type of calibration when loading and approving a digital certificate. The default report will be pre-selected when starting to view a calibration for approval, but can still be changed where needed ahead of review and approval
  • If a specific certificate has been set during calibration (eg due to a specific template being assigned to the procedure used), this will override the default template selected here.
• Set status to 'N: In Dispatch' after approval
  • If this option is disabled, the instrument will be set to "M: Awaiting Paperwork" when approved and will be available for processing in ProCal-Track
  • If this option is enabled, the instrument will be set to "N: In Dispatch" when approved and will be available for dispatch in ProCal-Track
• Enable notifications
  • Enables the certificate approval app to send desktop notifications to the user when a new certificate is ready to be approved
• Set notification check period (minutes):
  • Sets the time period in minutes between checks for new certificates awaiting approval. This setting is only available if notifications are enabled

Once settings have been configure to your requirements, click "Save Settings". This will save and apply your settings. Next, click "Close" to exit the settings page.

Note: Clicking "Close" without saving setting will discard any changes made to the app settings.
