Modified on Tue, 2 Mar, 2021 at 3:48 PM

For historical purposes, you may wish to take a backup of the calibration factors prior to calibrating the multimeter to restore to in the event of an incorrect adjustment.

To perform this, download the program attached to this support link, extract the .exe and then run the Program.

The Program will search for 8000 Series connected to the computer, on a successful connection you will see the following screen :

Press the 'Calibration Factors' button, a progress bar will appear, followed by a grid containing the current calibration factors.

To save the calibration factors, click the 'Save to File' button in the upper left menu bar. Select a location, filename and click save.

To re-load previous calibration factors, click the Load From File button, select a previous calibration factor download file and click Open.

The grid will reload with the data that has been loaded in, with the cells in a Light Blue colour.

Click the 'Save To Meter' button, the cells will change from Blue to White as the calibration factors are saved back to the multimeter.

NOTE : If adjustments have been performed, restoring the meter to a set of previous calibration factors will invalidate any calibration that has been performed.
