The 1000 Series is fitted with a protection fuse to protect both the UUT and the 1000 series in the event of a fault or externally applied current.
The user can replace this fuse by removing the 1000 Series from the case and replacing F4 (an ultra-rapid 1A, 20mm fuse)
A picture showing the location of F3 can be seen below :
The board does not need to be removed from the unit to replace the fuse.
Replacing the fuse will have no affect upon the calibration of the unit
