Modified on Thu, 15 Apr, 2021 at 9:09 AM

As of ProWeb V6.2.0 the following emails can now be enabled and configured.

Password Reset Notifications

New User Notification Emails

Password Reset Notifications

Password reset reminders are generated by the website and can be triggered by the end user. Reset emails are sent to the email that was configured when the customer was created/to the email registered to the user.

For these emails to function correctly the email settings under the Email Settings (Portal) must be tested and working correctly. We would advise trying to reset a password for a demo account under your own Account number to verify that the server has the capability to send emails on your behalf.

Password reset notifications can have the HEADER text and FOOTER text modified and is configurable from the ProWeb desktop utility.

New User Notification Emails (Optional)

New User Notification Emails are generated by the ProWeb desktop utility when a new user is created using the New User configuration and are sent if the 'Send New User Emails?' checkbox on the Email Settings tab has been checked.

The New User Emails are generated using the desktop email utility which is configured using ProCal-Track and runs on your internal system, i.e. it does not use the email server configured in ProWeb. This enables email history to be logged to ensure that emails are being sent and to which email address they were sent to.

New User Notification Emails can have their Email Subject, Header and Footer text modified and can be configured from the ProWeb desktop utility.

In addition, there are tags that may be entered that ProWeb can dynamically fill with content as listed below.

|PORTALURL| - This tag will insert the Portal URL text that is configured in the Portal Settings tab of ProWeb.
