Adding a traceable calibration category to a procedure will cause ProCal to require an assigned instrument from that calibration category when starting calibration using the procedure. Please see the following help articles for further information:

Checking/assigning traceable instruments at the start of a calibration (ProCal)
- Open the required procedure for editing.
- Click “Next” on the Instrument Information page.
- To add a traceable calibration category to the procedure:
- Click “Add Traceable Category”
- Select the required category from the traceable calibration category display grid
- Instruments assigned to the selected category will be shown in the traceable instrument display grid. This is for information only to help the operator decide on the correct traceable calibration category to add to the procedure.
- Click “Add Category” to add the traceable calibration category to the procedure.
- Click “Cancel” to exit without saving
- To remove a traceable calibration category from the procedure:
- Select the traceable calibration category to be removed from the procedure using the traceable calibration category display grid.
- Click “Remove Traceable Category”
