To create a quote first load up the customer the quote is being generated for.
To begin open the Contact Manager, enter either the account number of the customer in question or search via the customer name, and then click 'Find Customer'.
The customers information will be displayed, then click 'New Quote'.
Select the required type of quote, for this guide we'll be making a Calibration Quote. This will affect the report that the quotation is printed on.
Enter the carrier, carriage cost as well as the required payment terms. These must be entered in order to finalize the quote. Then click 'Next'.
Search for the services/items being quoted.
Then click 'Add' to add the item. At this stage you can add multiple items and services without having to close the search window.
When you have added all items, click 'Close' to discard the search window.
All items on the quotation can then be viewed, edited or deleted to ensure it is correct
The Order Information tab allows additional notes to be left, as well as the region to be set if dealing with multiple currencies.
Click 'Yes' to view a preview of the quote.
The preview will be displayed, its possible to print the quote from this screen or e-mail it.
