Modified on Tue, 2 Mar, 2021 at 2:44 PM

The 3000A Series calibrator contains a set of calibration factors / constants that determine and control the output of the calibrator.

It is common procedure prior to making adjustments to take a backup of these calibration factors in the case of accidental incorrect adjustment or as a housekeeping event.

Transmille supply a utility that enables download of these calibration factors which can be downloaded from the following location : Installing the Transmille Calibrator Setup Utility.

After installing and opening the application, the calibrator will be automatically detected via the USB port. Click the 'Calibration Factors' button and the application will open the following window and download the calibration factors automatically.

To save the calibration factors, click the button labelled 'Save To File'.

This will save a file with extension of .cal to the chosen location.

To re-load calibration factors back into a unit, click the 'Load from File' button, select the backup that you wish to reload into the calibrator and then click 'Save to Calibrator'.

The saved calibration factors will change to a CLEAR background instead of BLUE
